TASK
This assignment requires us to design a space for the assigned client, one of the characters from the movie ‘INSIDE OUT’. The space designed should embody and reflect the user’s/client’s characteristics, traits, behavioural actions, and habits based on the students’ interpretations and findings. The head-space-cube should be designed within 30cm x 30cm x 30cm.
PROGRESSION
TASK 1
After the assignment brief, I got Joy as my assigned client. Then, I watch the movie 'Inside Out' to know Joy clearly and the scenes that appear in the movie. After watching the movie, I started to draft bubble diagrams: Character Analysis and Spaces for Joy. At the same time, I started to design the spaces for Joy with sketches and find inspirations from movie as well as Pinterest.

TASK 2
After completed the drafts, I started working on my mock-up model to test out the ergonomics, scale, proportion, form, and space manipulation.

TASK 3
After some comments given by my tutor, I did some improvements and added the connection and contour on my final model.
TASK 4
One of the requirements for this assignment is a manual drawing of our model.

TASK 5
Next is A2 presentation board which is a must to submit the assignment. Thus, I plan out the arrangements and started to put my design developments, pictures, description manual drawing, etc. on the board.
TASK 6
To complete the submission, we are required to pre-record a 5 to 7 minutes video final verbal presentation to explain our conceptual ideas.

Through this assignment, the TGCs I have acquired are:
DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
In this assignment, I acquired this skill as I was able to understand the importance of ergonomics, scale, proportion, form, and space manipulation and applied them well in my assignments. Also that, I applied the theories that I learned from lectures and previous assignments into this assignment.
LIFELONG LEARNING
As this is a final assignment that has a huge workload, I had to adjust my time to complete this assignment on time, well I did it. Next is that I was able to learn independently so that I can share my progress to my tutor every week. Other than that, I was able to find inspiration and screw the ideas to have a perfect manipulation of spaces.
To make a conclusion, I like this assignment very much as it is so fun to make a space for our client. However, I found the tough part in this assignment is making the final model and using Sketchup to make the model. Even though I know that using Sketchup is not compulsory, but I learn it now better than later. I know it is a huge workload assignment but I love seeing at my model and the presentation board once I completed it.
