TASK

PART A – CASE STUDIES ON A PUBLIC SPACES

For this part, we are required to choose 2 existing public spaces globally that has been intervened in adapting the pandemic situation in a group of 4 to 5. Moreover, we are to conduct a case studies and investigate the intervention of public spaces to understand more about the tangible and intangible elements or components in public space on top of lecture delivered in class.

PART B – PUBLIC SPACE INTERVENTION – TAYLOR’S CAMPUS

For the second task, we have to initiate ideas on how our public spaces in campus could be intervened in relating to the affected COVID 19 pandemic. In addition, our outcome shall be in info-graphic, diagram-descriptions manner to discuss the strategies, ideas based on our knowledge on built environment.

WEEK 1

After we get our assignment brief, we have scheduled a meeting to discuss about the space that have some Covid-19 implementation to be aimed to do in task A. We have chose some places rather than just 2 for backup purpose.

2. Tenri Station Cofufun, Nara, Japan
3. Singapore Zoo
4. Universal Orlando Resort

WEEK 2

After we confirmed the place that we are going to do, we have began to insert the info into our canva board that we have searched in week 1. I have chose to search for facility and infrastructure, softscape and hardscape, covid-19 adaptation, sense of place as well as culture and acitivity of Brooklyn Domino Park.

WEEK 3

In this week, we have discussed about the implementation of Covid-19 in task B.

WEEK 4

After we discussed about the concept and strategy of Covid intervention at our area, we have segregated the task and I've got to do the introduction of Taylor's campus. Moreover, we have also inserted the info of task B into the canva board.

WEEK 5

In remaining one week, we finalized our slides by adding more info and has arranged the pictures into a more neat manner. After editing the infos, it is all done!
